Salmon wraps.

zalmwraps

As you may have noticed, I'm kind of struggling to find a new routine that works for me ever since I've been working. I might have taken on a little more than I can handle. The only free time I usually have is on Wednesday evening and all I want to do then is napping. But I'm trying to make it work! It might take some time to find a balance again but I promise I'll find it eventually.
Starting with one of my favorite appetizers; salmon and philadelphia bites. I don't really throw parties, but if I would, this would definitely be on the menu. It's quick, delicious and a little bit sophisticated (even if I say so myself). Want to know how to make these yummy little bites? Find out here ;)

Ingredients

  • wraps
  • smoked salmon
  • philadelphia (or any other cream cheese) with herbs and garlic

Preparation

  1. Take a wrap and smear some philadelphia on top. If you're making this a day ahead, be royal with the cream cheese, it tends to dry out the longer you keep it.
  2. Add a layer of the smoked salmon on top.
  3. Roll up everything into a sausage.
  4. You can cut this into small pieces and serve it immediately, but I usually wrap it in plastic foil and put it in the fridge for a couple of hours. I don't know why, but it sticks better in my opinion (this could also be just wishful thinking on my part).
  5. Enjoy.
