Frozen Hot Chocolate.

Apparently frozen hot chocolate is a thing. I didn't know until recently, but hey, I'll go along with it. I'll have to admit that I thought it was a little strange at first. The name itself is already weird to me: frozen hot chocolate. yeah right, it's one or the other, matey! (Yeah, I said matey!). Anyway, if I wanted to have cold chocolate milk, I'd just drink Cécémel! But on the other hand, how bad can frozen hot chocolate be? So I thought I'd give it a try. And so I did. And it's waaaaay better than Cécémel (and I already love Cécémel a lot). This tastes really really chocolate-y, what can be bad about that? If you would want to give it a try, you can find the recipe below:

Ingredients (2 servings)

  • 100 g chocolate
  • 350 ml milk
  • 1,5 tbs granulated sugar
  • 1 ts cocoa powder
  • ice cubes (optional)

Preparation

  1. Melt the chocolate over a low heat. When melted, add the sugar and cocoa powder. Stir well until all the lumps have gone.
  2. Add about 100 ml of the milk. And stir well.
  3. Add the rest of the milk.
  4. If you want it really cold, you can pour it in a blender and add a few ice cubes. The chocolate milk will be a bit thicker. I didn't do it because I was afraid my blender wouldn't be able to handle the ice cubes.
