I doubted if I would do this post because I'm not really into cakepops. Cupcakes are more my thing: there's more to eat but they're still easy to take with you (on the train for example... I always get hungry on the train). But a few months ago, my parents bought me a cake pop machine - they didn't know what to get me anymore... I'm spoiled: I got everything! Now I got this machine standing here, so I decided to use it too! Cake pops are pretty messy with all the chocolate and if you're anything like me, I recommend you NOT to wear your best clothes... I litterally got chocolate every-where!
Ingredients
- 125 g butter, softened
- 125 g selfrising flour
- 125 g granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 dl milk
- optional: food coloring
- chocolate
- cream
Preparation
- Mix the butter and the sugar in a bowl.
- Add the egg.
- Add the flour.
- Add the milk
- Then I divided the dough in a couple of bowls and added food coloring to it. This is totally optional, it won't change the taste of the cake pops or anything.
- Scoop in small spoons into the machine and let it bake.
- Let the cake pops cool off and melt the chocolate with the cream on a low heat.
- Dip the sticks in the chocolate and then stick it into the little cake balls. Let it dry a while before you dip the cake pop in the chocolate frosting.
- You can decorate with sprinkles or chocolate drips if you want.
Mmmm, they look delicious!
