Linklove.

As the holidays can be quite hectic, I took some days off of work to rest a bit and to enjoy the holiday spirit (of course). What I love doing during my "quiet time" is check out Bloglovin' and read blogs. Besides, winter is the perfect season to snuggle up behind your computer with a good cup of coffee because it's cold outside - well, normally it is, this year seems to be the exception.
Anyway, in the last couple of months, I read a lot of fun articles and I selected a few which I loved a lot or which I thought were very useful. Check them out:
  1. I read about speculaas chocolate mousse on Ohmyfoodness. That has to be sooo good! Pinned it right away!
  2. I'm trying to concentrate a bit more on photography lately but all practice is hard. I'm not exactly where I want to be yet but often find useful tips at heleenschrijvershof.nl. In this post she shares more about how to bring consistency in your blog pictures. Although not very concrete (in this post), it gave me something to think about and I will keep her tips in mind for the future.
  3. I only recently discovered Chicks Love Food and I became an instant fan. This trio of desserts looked perfect for the holidays! Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to try them yet but hey, I'm sure I will soon enough!
  4. On insins.me, you can find a very useful tutorial about how to make your own patterns in Photoshop. As a Photoshop newbie, it drew my attention immediately and I'm definitely going to try this technique in the future!
  5. I already told you about my friend who started a blog and she shared her recipe for the best brownies ever. Really, I've tried a lot of brownies in my life, but so far... Hers are the best!
  6. I've been wearing glasses for over 15 years now so I got really excited after reading about Polette on Elisse's blog. I've been doubting if I should order one but since I have a special type of glasses, I didn't dare to buy any pair so far.
  7. And last but not least; I loved reading about Hanneke's experience of getting a Brazilian Wax. I thought it was really brave to write about this as it's not really an everyday subject to discuss. Especially if it's that personal. But Hanneke actually described her experience quite objectively (without giving too much details) and I didn't even feel uncomfortable reading the post (which says a lot because I'm a huge prude)
