DIY Garden markers.

Last year, I already told you about our vegetable garden. We absolutely love this little garden and the Boyfriend and I have come up with a pretty good working schedule: he does all the dirty work and I do whatever I'm in the mood for :D. Okay, I might not be the perfect gardener but I am pretty good with a painting brush and you need to know where you've sowed the carrots and the beans too. So I promised the Boyfriend that I would take care of the garden markers while he does all the rest. What I've come up with is pretty basic but very clear, I think. And what you'll need to do to make these is pretty simple too.

Materials

  • Paint (I used small samples)
  • Painting brush
  • Tape
  • Wooden sticks
(I got mine for free at a painting store. These are normally used to make sure your bucket of paint is mixed properly)
  • Black marker (or any other color)

Procedure

  1. Paint the wooden stick in any color you prefer.
  2. Let it dry.
  3. Tape a straight line somewhere in the middle of the stick (I didn't measure anything, I just guessed a little).
  4. Paint one half of the stick in another color and let it dry again.
  5. Write down the name of the vegetable with black marker (or paint it).
  6. Bam! That easy.

  1. Leuke DIY!
